GRisk,

Great news. I still can't believe he's made it. Felt like the press early in the summer was hinting that it was a 95% chance he wouldn't make it. Finally, hopefully, a happy ending in a year filled with losing so many horses.

I'm still very, very worried about the laminitis, but yes, things right now are looking good. Breaks my heart to think that if he hadn't developed the laminitis, he'd probably be in a splint by now and absolutely out of the woods. As it is, minimum of six months still to go...

You're right though-- compared to what things were in July, it's lovely to think we might get a happy ending for him!

I would not be very, very worried. More like concerned or cautious. He is doing so well that he is becoming a little nasty and difficult to deal with. A little of his daddy is starting to come out in him and he is full of life.

Whoever thought reading a horse "becoming a little nasty" would make me so happy? :) Thanks for the update!

I will see what I can do, but you can always listen to the archive on their website if you don't have sirius.
