Jogged again Sunday at $2.20, this time in front every step.. No fig posted yet. Will be interesting to see what Wolfson does next with him. This was 6.5f. King's Bishop a natural progression to 7f but seemingly back too soon in 13 days. Gallant Bob timing good, but moves him back to 6f.

Wolfson sending him to the Indiana Derby - Rosario to ride

After the BS spewed by Wolfson today about why he is going to Indiana, I look forward to rooting against him.

Wolfson said the decision to go to Indiana had more to do with track surface than anything else.

“I just think he’ll like a harder track like the one at Indiana better than the surface at Belmont Park, which can be on the slow side,” Wolfson said on Tuesday. “The decision had nothing really to do with the competition or that he’d be facing older horses like Itsmyluckyday, rather than straight 3-year-olds, if he went to New York.”

Atreides has opened his career with three consecutive one-sided victories, all at Gulfstream Park, including a 17 1/2-length triumph in the Monarchos Stakes when sent a mile for the first time earlier this month. Before deciding to run in the Indiana Derby, Wolfson had said he’d rather not run Atreides around two turns just yet. The Kelso is run around one turn, and the Indian Derby is at 1 1/8 miles around two turns.

"rooting against" I wonder what that feels like ? Actually rooting for someone to lose.....a new low.

Why would you look forward to such a thing ?

It's a good thing you've never done that.

Boston Strong

Never Did, Never will. You should try it. Even if he had the only live ticket for a pick 6 score, I would still root for him, and for you too.
That nitwit who owns California Chrome, is not gonna make me root against him or his big hoss. We are all in this thing together. The stone is heavy enough without others hoping we fail.

Rooting against an individual or team is often quite rewarding as a fan. For example, I thoroughly enjoyed the 2014 NBA Finals and the 2010 BCC....and not because I love the Spurs or Blame.

find happiness within yourself

you rooted against a hoss who won 19 in a row passing every hoss she faced, traumatizing many of them forever ? you must feel very proud. you must have been crushed when she rolled by everyone in the classic the year before.

You are so completely full of crap. Do you think anyone on here other than yourself buys your nonsense?

I'll make sure to never cheer for an underdog again.

Alabama Stakes 09-18-2014 11:41 AM

big diff between cheering for an underdog, and rooting for someone to fail. you're a lot more ignorant than I thought.

Traumatized many of them forever? Good one.
Man, I guess everybody should have been rooting against her if she was such a mean bully that she actually went around purposely traumatizing other horses.

This may be the first time in history a trainer said a harder track is preferred.

the results speak for themselves, she broke their spirits, like Secetariat did to Sham. Especially that filly who ran her eyeballs out and who Zenyatta through a 28 and change last 5/16 at her to just nail her when impossibly behind.
