Palice Malice

Straight to retirement or straight to the BC with Pletcher not holding anything back kind of like Super Flower Alley in the 2005 BC?

Is it remotely possible Palace Malice doesn't like the SPA surface? Once the Pletcher's enter the "abyss" they rarely return to form. "Soft tissue"/He has done enough" announcement pending, good horse, hope I am dead wrong and he finds his best form again.

Looked like he didn't like the track to me.
It was only one race, I think they give him
another race before the Breeders Cup.
Cot Campbell said there was a chance they would
run him again next year...

It's a good year to keep trying, since the division is so weak this year. I think this is setting up for one of the 3 years old like CC, Shared Belief or Tonalist to really step and take charge for HOY. It would been a good opportunity for Wise Dan to take a shot on dirt, if he didn't have his setback.

Wise Dan might race in the Woodward.

Due to setback ( they say ) they are keeping him on the turf this year.

Just repeating what I read yesterday:

"I've got two options," LoPresti said Saturday. "If he keeps going the right way, he'll either run in the Baruch or the Woodward, and I like what I saw today on the dirt. I wouldn't rule (the Woodward) out."
