Doesn't quell my rage that Congress won't properly fund the VA, but it's a very sweet story. Huge props to the Lowe's employees.

Yes:tro::tro:...love those stories...and yes, let's get the VA fixed ASAP..

Got this email today from a Marine friend..

GOD BLESS AMERICA
We are asking everyone to say a prayer for "Darkhorse" 3rd
Battalion 5th Marines and their families.
They are fighting it out in Afghanistan & they have lost 12 marines in 4 days.
IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE the message spread if more people
could pass it on.

They are:
Justin Allen, 23; Brett Linley, 29; Matthew Weikert, 29; Justus Bartett, 27; Dave Santos, 21; Chase Stanley, 21; Jesse Reed, 26; Matthew Johnson, 21; Zachary Fisher, 24; Brandon King, 23; Christopher Goeke, 23; SheldonTate, 27.
All are Marines that gave their lives for YOU this week.

If only the President and Congress could agree the $3.7 BILLION asked for by the President for illegal immigrant children was instead going to go to the vets it would be a start.

Vesting the Social Security fund instead of leaving IOU's, so our seniors never worry again would be a bonus.

The nerve of private industry doing things better than the government !

This wasn't private industry; this was three nice guys volunteering their time after they were off the clock.
