Assuming he wasn't entered due to possible soft turf conditions?

Lava 07-06-2014 07:49 AM

In a 25k claimer will he stay in?

Likely.. Paul wants to win with him and this was the level of the MDN win.

Good Luck!

If he has a will to win, He lays over this field! Drops and Pops, and Junior finally uses that one move to cash!:)

Paul

that's the feeling i've had since i first saw him in for a tag, that he'd get claimed.
hope all goes well.

Lava 07-09-2014 10:06 AM

Good luck TC hope we don't lose him but feeling we will

smootsirvin 07-09-2014 11:05 AM

Good luck to TC and all!

Agree with all that's been said below. If he's claimed, so be it. I'll always have fond memories of this big guy who hated to get up early in the morning!

An appropriate finish today to our 4 years with Toy Cannon (14/1-5-2). He goes to John Toscano in a 14-way (last I heard) shake.

Thanks to the original partners who came along for the ride. Thanks to Paul Pompa especially for making the experience with Toy Cannon possible showing great patience to give the horse every opportunity to maximize his potential. Obviously thanks go to Bill Mott and his (very) patient staff in dealing with what was a challenging animal from the start. Also to Junior Alvarado for all the hard tries aboard TC. Appreciation goes as well to Richard Kent in Ocala (winters) and Woody Payne (yearling/2yo training) in Virginia for their efforts with TC.

Thanks to you Steve and Dee Tee Stables.

Happened to be with the brothers and Dad yesterday - so we all watched together.

A great experience being a part of Dee Tee.

Already looking forward to the next one.

Thanks.

If you still feel like Toy Cannon is family, just noticed that he's entered in the eighth race at Saratoga on Sunday.
