Obama - "I will not apologize for the Bergdahl swap"
http://edition.cnn.com/2014/06/05/po...gdahl-release/
I don't know why he would, he never apologized to the families of the victims of the Bengazi fiasco, or the gulf coast BP oil spill victims for waiting 53 days to involve the Coast Guard and investigate the Mineral and Mine safety division of the Dept. of the Interior, or the taxpayers for pissing away trillions in stimulus money on larks (cash for clunkers, bankrupt solar panel companies, bankrupt electric car battery companies, etc.) rather than rebuilding our infrastructure like the platform he ran on, or the world economy for not holding anyone accountable for the banking collapse. In fact the only thing he's done successfully and consistently for 6 years is avoid blame. This whole thing makes absolutely no sense. There has got to be a covert angle where someone's cover was blown or something. |

Now how that all ties back into letting 5 of the most heinous terrorists we've ever captured, just "go home" is one for the ages - but perhaps they had this kid embedded as a spy and his story didn't jive with the report - Al Queda in turn threatens to release the blown cover by publicly killing him unless we give up these 5, which, in turn he gets released. Obama spins it as a win-win, when actually it was a coverup of a clusterfuc<1. Pure speculation, but this is one f'ed up situation all around. |
Once Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld apologize for Iraq, I'll start fretting about this. But nothing in Obama's Presidency will possibly approach that bone-headed cluster*ck of C-plus Augustus' ego trip that killed thousands of Americans, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, exploded our debt, siphoned billions into the pockets of their friends and was just generally the single worst foreign policy decision since god knows when.
And yet they get a bye for that while Obama gets pilloried for cash for clunkers. Jesus wept. |
that's a really interesting theory, rudeboy.
and of course they won't say if that's what happened. |

No one defended Bush nor Cheney nor Rumsfeld; in fact all three should be hung for treason. No idea what that has to do with the current administration, or the 16 trillion dollars worth of boondoggles at ever turn, but good for you. We get it - you are on Team Blue. So you get to ignore the egregious actions of your Team Bluetard leader, Because Team Redtard's guy was way worse in your eyes. Of course, Team Bluetard's guy was supposed to be the antithesis of Team Redtard's guy but, alas, is exactly the same. No matter, he's on Team Blue and not Team Red. That is all that matters. |
Well...but Bush...
Oh wait...already used. Ermm...racist! |

I find it impossible to believe that our gov't didn't drug the released Taliban members and place tracking devices inside of them before we released them. Gov't had the full story before they made the decision, there's just no way they could trade 5 ranking members for a possible deserter. Or so I hope.

In terms of this prisoner swap, if what has been reported in terms of a proof of life video that showed this kid to be in poor health i am sure this is what moved the President to act so quickly to bring this kid home. Let them investigate when the kid is healthy, and if he's a deserter or traitor i am sure appropriate charges will be filed at a later date. In my opinion anyone of these right wing SCUMBAGS calling for this President to be impeached for bringing home an American POW is once again of a moronic opinion! Speaking of TRAITORS AND MORONS, i think the absolute LAST PERSON we need weighing in on this situation is OLLIE FUKING NORTH! BUT he has, this CONVICTED TRAITOR has got some SACK going on FIXED NEWS and opening his pie hole about this prisoner exchange, when he should be rotting himself in prison to this day and beyond! This concludes my rant, i am going to take a BP pill now try to calm down and go back to capping! Nothing personal Ms. Danzig ya just caught me at a very bad time. Please continue amongst yourselves! |

until some changes are made and the two big parties get knocked down a few pegs, i'm afraid you're right. |

and yes, obama has had opposition...but for the most part, things haven't changed since he took over. nor did i expect it to. as for the wars, drone strikes have stepped up, you have the nsa scandal, the patriot act being continued. obama has pretty much continued what was already started by the previous admin. and i agree, talk of impeaching obama is ridiculous. it won't go anywhere. |

"Your guy was bad so it doesn't matter that my guy is just as bad". It's always a race or competition on who is right, instead of what is right. This isn't a football game or horse race, people! |

I have a disdain for all politicians, but the politics of this president suggests his next move may be to send the troops after........AMERICANS. And not referring to rescuing POWs either. I'm not sure how kowtowing to Islamic fundamentalist, bootlicking American killers, and bargaining with terrorists benefits Americans----the people who as an elected official he has sworn to serve and protect the interests of. |
