I usually do this on Pace Advantage. For good luck, I'll switch to this board.
Race 1 The track should be wet. I expect #1 Magsamelia (2/1) to go to the front and stay there. Race 2 There's no reason why #10 Escapist (7/2) cannot handle dirt, if the race switches to dirt, considering his half sibling is Clearly Now. Race 3 It should take a monster race to defeat #6 Big Screen (9/5), if he's ready, especially with his sloppy track ability. Race 4 If the track is wet and #9 Privatize (12/1) establishes a clear lead, he can surprise this field. All of his wet dirt races look decent. Race 5 I have nothing creative here. Maybe #4 Make a Fortune (5/2) moves up off the claim into the Jacobson barn. Race 6 I have nothing creative here either. If the race comes off the turf, #4 Sweethots (6/1) should take them gate to wire. If not, #1 It's Your Dime's (8/1) lone dirt start is better than it looks, considering the pace. Race 7 If the race comes off the turf, it will be interesting if #1 La Madrina (3/1) can duplicate the form of her siblings El Padrino and Verrazano. Race 8 #2 Cease (5/2) will probably have good position. Another snoozer race in terms of value. Race 9 Yet another race that didn't look attractive at first glance. Joel Rosario should give #8 Honeychild (6/1) a good ride. For a longshot play, perhaps #6 Aspree (20/1) can steal the race. |
Belmont Race 1: Pace

I actually believe that the #2 Horse Rosemarie will outbreak the #1 Horse Magsamelia. Having said that Mags is a superior animal and might be able to overcome the pace pressure ... but ... down on the inside ... pressed ... may NOT be the place to be!!! The Dancer |
