Interesting article by Stan Caris in American Turf Magazine
 

Just got my issue yesterday.

Caris goes through a particular breeding angle: that horses who have Buckpasser in the X passing position in their breeding, and then passing certain statistical requirements, have had an ROI of 100% in the last 25 years of the Derby.

It's definitely an interesting read.

I haven't read it but am familiar with the theory.
If I have it correct this year there are 8 horses that have the blood and 4 of those qualify under the stat requirements. I'm not sure if it was pointed out in the article but this will be the largest representation (4) in the study.
