Snow and Ice in the South
 

Heading right for Charlotte and going to be a doozy.

No work for days that's for sure. The ice will be a real mess.

working from home today. roads are nasty.

I 'd show my balcony view of the ocean/ beach in Aruba but that would just be wrong!

I live about 50 miles NE of Atlanta. Snow started early Tuesday, then turned to freezing rain that night. Today we have had snow turning to heavy sleet, with freezing rain expected tonight.
You're right, a real mess is headed your way.

Its up to 25 here in Ohio today. I have my shorts on.

I live at the bottom of a huge hill. With little resources for snow and especially ice, that hill has accounted for at least 20 more days vacation over the years.

Ice collecting and is laying over 6" of snow. Going to be nasty for days. If bourbon holds out I'll be OK. Where's amazon with those damn drones!

Started snowing around 2pm and still falling..temp around 25..predicting 8-12inches and looks like it will happen..it's an icy snow and sticking...can't remember this much snow in over 30 years...Raliegh.NC, a total mess,cars stalled on major roads and highways..and they are south of here..My son lives in Columbia,SC and they too are getting hammered..

still ice in many spots on the road here, and will be below freezing tonight...so, when tony heads to work tomorrow it ought to be treacherous as hell.

by saturday, high of 61. ah, the south....

i hate that they now name winter storms..it cheapens the hurricane season..

SICK OF WINTER.

Started snowing around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. Woke up to 14" Thursday morning. Started snowing again around 10 that morning. 8 hours later, we had another 5" added on. I hate snow.

Think of the muscles you'll have.:rolleyes:
