thoughts?

i keep returning to '...but, he's six'.

school do the right thing, or go too far? was there any supervision because the mother said he 'kept kissing her daughter'?

According to wikipedia

"Sexual harassment is bullying or coercion of a sexual nature, or the unwelcome or inappropriate promise of rewards in exchange for sexual favors"

It seems to me that a six year old boy would fail to meet either part of the definition given above.

The school administration tried to force fit the situation into a category they already had. That's how this came to appear so ludicrous.

The mother of the girl should have told her son to defend his little sister giving the six year old his very first azz-kicking. No school, principal etc. needed.

I've seen a video interviewing the boy. He appears to be a spoiled, obnoxious little brat. Staying home from school for two days likely taught him nothing.

they removed the term from the kids permanent record.
