i'm embarrassed that i share a planet with this hateful couple. and bravo for those who went and waited to prove a point. bkudos to them, they ease the pain of this other couple, who have much to learn.

doh!
hey, pastor, you pay a waiter/waitress a tip, because they actually provide a service. i think firing the waitress went too far. now, i don't go to crapplebee's anyway....so this just gives me another reason to stay away.

Pretty sure the couple and other similar religious zealots with nothing but a fundamental appreciation of the Gospel live under bondages most can’t recognize or even begin to comprehend. It likely wasn’t hate or despise that caused them to write the note, it was a perceived sense of duty expected of them as lockstep apostles of their church.

Far different in my opinion from the misanthropists, who act out of a fear and hate of latent homosexuality perceived in themselves, to physically or verbally confront/assault gays.

I suggest the Pastor read her bible as she would say 'more closer'

Quote:

1 Timothy 2: 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
;)

That should do it!

BTW this is an old story and I've seen numerous interviews of the pastor. Although I believe she speaks English you really need subtitles, you know to understand 'more closer' :zz:

I think they're just cheapskates looking for any excuse not to tip. My husband waited tables for years and he said the Sunday after-church groups were always the worst. Didn't order much, stayed forever, kept the servers running constantly for more this, more that, and then would leave Bible tracts in place of a tip. Servers hate working Sunday brunch shifts.

Sounds about right, certainly more likely they were drunk with the Kool-Aid.

And likely the illiterate pastor is drunk 24/7 and most likely more than with just the Kool-Aid.
