track conditions on belmont day

hasn't it rained out there all week, the turf will have to have retained some moisture, it may be a fast turf, but it still should be sorta heavy, No???

same on the dirt, he may not be mud os slop, but it seems it might come up as a damp sand,

any thoughts

The track will be a NO BET condition for me. I will wait for a better track to bet. Good racing luck to all that try.

Good point, IMO, Oracle said that they take good care at sealing the wet track, but all that rain has to make it a little heavier. Like when it rains on a softball field, it slows ground balls down to where it's easier to field them. Dunno, sound like a valid theory?
