Where Are They Now? Kentucky Oaks Division

Does anyone know where these fillies are running next or if they are injured?

Midnight Lucky - steadily working
Beholder - steadily working
Unlimited Budget - no works since CCAO
Pure Fun - no works
Dreaming of Julia - working

Hatches Cotallian or whatever that race is at Parx.
Gonna asume Budget is not OK after her last.
N Beholder some pos mile race at del mar.

Jay Privman ‏@DRFPrivman 14s Acorn winner Midnight Lucky done for year with bone bruising, Baffert reports. "She got jammed up, wasn't moving right," he said. #DelMar

Where do you get such accurate inside information?

She's been running there... Not sure what you're talking about. Injuries happen.

Blast. I only just saw this. Glad she got the G1 before having to go on the shelf, but I was really looking forward to seeing her some more this year. :(

Dreaming of Julia has been pointing to the Cotillion for a little while as well.

David Grening ‏@DRFGrening 1m Todd Pletcher said Dreaming of Julia and Kauai Katie have been sent to Stonestreet Farm for a vacation. Will resurface at 4 at Gulfstream.

It's kind of an odd year. Usually the 3yo colt division is in shambles by the time the Travers rolls around, but they seem to be holding up well as a group. The 3yo fillies division is the one that has many of the most talented ones on the shelf pointing to 2014.

The Rampart will be at his mercy.

Who exactly is pointing to the Distaff right now? I honestly can't keep track of who's healthy. I got Princess of Sylmar...who else is still out there?

I would expect a 116 BSF from both and a subsequent liver issue or soft tissue injury that has them ready for Breeding Season by May 15th 2014

Drats! I was hoping for a bounce-back performance out of Julia at PARX. :o

DRF is reporting that Saturday may be Princess' last race for the year.

clambeau 08-15-2013 08:31 PM

Eddie Lacy would win this year's Alabama.....Joe Namath could get a minor award - with the proper stockings of course

I would bet that the connections would love to have her run in the Cotillion in front of the home folk.
