Secret Circle :)

Good to see he had a workout yesterday. Any word on why he's been out so long? Future plans?

Entered in an AOC at 6f next week :) (not entered for the tag)

Welcome back :) Hopefully he can turn into the dirt miler monster a lot of thought he would probably be after watching him in the derby preps last year.

Hey man, I like Secret Circle. He was an exciting horse at the 2yo sale and always ran good races.

Has he run since he finished a distant 2nd to Bodemeister in the Arkansas Derby?

pmayjr 10-11-2013 04:36 PM

No... at least I don't believe so. He got hurt in that race, and then was off the radar for a good year or so (but there was never any news about him being retired). All of a sudden maybe... in May there was a workout notification in my virtual stable mail. I'm not sure when I originally posted this on 7/1 if he had some before that or not... but it's only been a few months.

No.

He needs to stay sound. If he can pair up races, he will be winning. Very talented sprinter/miler.

Dont count out Frumious in this race. Secret Circle and Frumious might have a heated duel up front. A very good ALW

Nice return win for Secret Circle.

So happy for Secret Circle...1:07 4/5. Love to see him in the Cigar Mile....

RockHardTen1985 10-14-2013 04:09 PM

pretty impressive EffORT the other speed finished dead last at 9 to 5.
hopefully Bob doesn't rush Him to the Breeders Cup and we see him in the cigar mile

Interestingly, yesterday on ATR Baffert sounded plenty concerned about the presence of Frumious in the race. Nice to get him this colt back. May be hard to not try BC Sprint with him considering the lack of depth in there...

The lack of depth of sprinters in Bafferts barn, or the field in general?

Isn't this Game on Dude's barn replacement in 12 months vs. a hot stallion prospect? If he rushes this one and ruins him what's the point of getting the 4 year old back to the track? You think they circled the '13 Sprint for the last 18 months. This could be a really nice horse that makes plenty of money and these connections love to race vs. breed.

helicopter11 10-15-2013 06:09 PM

Too bad Frumious didnt show his former self in that race. I hope nothing is wrong with him after the race.
