How come no one's making a big deal about this?

Because we missed it.

I know on ESPN they tried to knock this horse and he set a stakes record. I don't know but i hope I get the 15-1 they said he would be in the BC

ateamstupid 09-30-2006 05:00 PM

They're both huge win candidates in the BCM and Free Thinking should be a big price..

I hope I get 15-1 on Ashkal Way too. All the horse does is win.

Ashkal Way is a group 2 horse in europe. Gorella or George Washington will destroy him. Showing Up also appears to be going to the mile. I love him but he has no chance against the top europeans.

More hate man you need to revamp your thinking

Lose=Glue- I agree with you completely.

I hope we get him at a big price in the BC Mile. The reason why I'm able to give him some support, is because of his running style. If he would've put this time up running on the front end, no way I give him any chance in the Mile. But he'll be coming off the pace with a nice closing kick, and HE WILL HAVE A FAST PACE TO RUN AT IN THE MILE. HE'S LIVE!

Didn't he barely win against a mediocre horse today. Times mean nothing. That turf course is a rock.

I generally dont trust times but you cant knock a win machine like Ashkal Way. I again tried to beat him and again got burned.

pmayjr 09-30-2006 05:33 PM

Nostradamus-
I just love the pace scenario that's he's gonna get. The Mile will go in fast fractions, and there will be horses waiting to punce, including this one. This one will probably offer the most value. So I'm lovin him. The Mile can be such a wide open affair anyway...

I think he could win, but the people that own and train him don't consider him the caliber of the top horses in the world.

pmayjr 09-30-2006 05:39 PM

Yeah... I thought this race was a litmus test for a lot of the horses in the Kelso... to see if they belonged in the Mile. I think he should run, because what other big $$$ races are comin up at a mile in the next few months? If he's supplimented, they got nothin to lose by running him. Especially with his closing kick.

The said it publicly. The horse never won a stakes while campaigning in Europe and the UAE. NEVER.

HE IS NOT GOING TO RUN IN THE MILE ANYWAY.

pmayjr 09-30-2006 05:44 PM

If he's supplimented, he'll run. If not- then you're probably right. Wasn't it 2 years ago- Yeah I think the '04 Kelso where Millenium Dragon and Mr. O'Brien finished 1-2, and both weren't supplimented, and both didn't go to the Mile?
