BERNARD L MADOFF is an inmate at Butner..Met a guard from there couple years ago, said someone punched him out...but he's still breathing..

A guy in my neighborhood finished his 10 year bid at Butner NC. He said that Bernie is respected by the other inmates and spends his days watching the financial shows on tv, He said they respect him because he didnt rat on anyone and because he was the biggest thief in America.

:D Yeah they respect that...the guard told me he had a big shiner and that was shortly after he got there...

Butner is right down the road from one of the best golf courses I have ever stepped foot on, Treyburn Country Club.

Go by there 3-4 times a year on the way to Duke Med ctr and other Docs..never stopped there, not a golfer..maybe stop by next year...
