The 17th Equibase ranked all time win leader with 39 wins has had 3 workouts in Nov. at Beulah Park. Catlaunch last raced on 7/29/12 finishing 3rd in an allowance at River Downs. The 11 yr old millionaire gelding has raced exclusively in stakes and allowance company his entire career in the midwest. Owned and bred by Scioto Farm this 97 race grizzled veteran is looking for his first win this year. The son of Noble Cat is currently the winningest active thoroughbred.

How far does the Equibase list go back? Mid 1970's?

richard 12-04-2012 12:14 PM

I don't know. They have Time To Bid, 50 wins, as the all time win leader. Foaled in 1975. Are there more comprehensive stats out there?

Probably not.

Hall of Famer Kingston won 89 races in North America in the late 1800's.

Incredible 89 wins. Let's hope someday all the data will be available at our finger tips like Equibase has now, I guess from the mid 70s.

Saginaw, currently tied for 2nd place in most 2012 North American wins with 9, breezed over the Aq surface on 11/30. 3 panels in 37.98, best of 4 at the distance.

I guess this all time wins thing is a better obsession than stallions ejaculating...but the other is much more entertaining.

He's a future "un-sub" straight out of a criminal minds episode.

It won't be long until he gets a "stresser" and dead bodies start appearing in the infield at Finger Lakes ... as well as exotic animals buggard at the zoo's in upstate NY.

We don't care about Calzone Lord. This is a work tab thread. How hard is that to figure out ?
