The Clark already sounds like a nice betting opportunity.

Coming up pretty strong. Mott is sending Lunar Victory who is a really nice NYB. Hard to look past Neck n Neck though.

Not 100% sure (as rumors Go) But I have heard Neck n Neck will not make the race. Pretty good source too.

neck n neck looks like a late bloomer i suspect he will be a force to be reckoned with next year

Rootdog1 11-20-2012 12:36 PM

I'll forego the usual joke.

Coil the Baffert choice to come to Cigar Mile..

declansharbor 11-21-2012 10:55 AM

It's a sad state of affairs when the list of injured quality 3 yr olds is longer than the list of quality 3 yr olds that are still in training.

Hushion wheels My Wandy's Girl back for the Gazelle..

There used to be this real crazy dude on the old AOL boards named Walter Parker, that was convinced that the Remsen was the key indicator for the following years Kentucky Derby.

I miss him.

pucknut 11-21-2012 06:02 PM

If it is the same version of him that shows up last time.

Dance Card (a sister to Tempted to Tapit) goes for her first Grade 1 win in the Gazelle -- she was beyond awesome at the Fasig Tipton Florida 2-year-old sale two years ago.

Here was the Dance Card work:

Of all the unblinkered works at that sale -- she was clearly the outright fastest.

Miss him????? His posts compromise about 50% of all posts on DRF....as well as about any blog he can find.

I don't really miss him.

But he was kind of amusing, in a zany nonsensical way.

Good to know he still haunts people!

Via Dave Grening: Jersey Town will not get a chance to defend his Cigar Mile title as a fever spike has necessitated his SCR.

cakes44 11-24-2012 03:27 PM

I was sure Groupie Doll had that won watching it live.

Merlinsky 11-25-2012 02:19 AM

Just saw that the first and third finishers of the Remsen were by Dixie Union. He'll have one more crop to hit racing age in 2013. It's such a shame to've lost him, and for some reason I thought Union Rags was likely his last major hurrah. Looks like he isn't done yet.

Calzone Lord 11-25-2012 10:46 AM

Dance Card got out badly again.

She's running like Beautiful Pleasure would later on in her career. She's been fun to follow even though it took her forever to get to the races.
