Story now is that the original FBI investigation was into allegations of harassing emails sent by Petraeus' mistress to a woman she thought he was sleeping with. It was through investigating the harassment that the affair came out.

Can I just ask, what is it with women losing their marbles at the other woman (or the other other woman, in this case) and not at the guy who is the one doing the cheating? I'm a feminist, but seriously, I read stuff like this and I am all, bitchez be crazy, bro. Bitchez be crazy.

all these 'smoking guns' that aren't.

and even if petraus is out of the cia, he will still be called to testify on the libyan embassy. and surely you don't think this is all some convoluted scheme by democrats to cover up the embassy attack? what, they knew they'd be attacked back a few years ago, so they made sure the guy who would one day be head of the cia would be in contact with this woman..they preplanned the affair that occurred in 2011?
