Sorry if this question has already been asked, but I've seen a few different posts on here about various trainers loving polytrack at various tracks. With that being said, if this stuff really catches on, and trainers continue to say good things about the surface- Do you think it will spur trainers to run really good horses more frequently?

We see complaints everywhere (and rigthfully so in most cases) about how there's no more "campaigners" and that Grade 1 calibur horses will run maybe once every month and half or so. If this stuff catches on, and injuries to horses go down, I hope this will spur trainers to enter horses more often at ther highest levels of the sport.

After one season in Kentucky alot of people think there is enough info to support the claim that it is a much safer surface but i think like with anything its never gonna be right the 1st time

No surface will spur the running of the elite grade of therobred. The purses can be nice but the goal is to make them valuable in mating Thus they try to prepare them for the TC races and most are not able to endure the training schedule required. Winning of races has got to return as the major reward before you will see more compition in the top races accross the country.
