State by State betting on the election
Ohio:
Romney 2.8-to-1 ($500 available at that price) Obama 3-to-10 favorite ($1,800 available at that price) Florida: Romney 9-to-20 favorite (over $1,000 available) Obama 9-to-5 ($500 available) Virgina: Romney 6-to-5 ($500 available) Obama 7-to-10 favorite ($700 available) Colorado: Romney 6-to-5 ($500 available) Obama 3-to-4 favorite ($800 available) Iowa: Romney 5-to-2 ($500 available) Obama 1-to-3 favorite ($1,900 available) Wisconsin: Romney 4-to-1 ($500 available) Obama 1-to-5 favorite ($3,000 available) New Hampshire: Romney 5-to-2 ($200 available) Obama 1-to-3 favorite ($1,500 available) Nevada: Romney 6-to-1 ($50 available) Obama 1-to-9 favorite ($2,500 available) |
I have Romney pulling off upsets in Virgina, Colorado, and New Hampshire and still losing the general election. And I have Obama pulling off no upsets.
Obama should put everything he has left into Ohio. The odds of a Romney win without getting Ohio has to be 500-to-1. |
I think that's a good bet, and the states in the order you listed.
Based upon yesterdays polling I think Obama gets NH. Colorado is probably more Romney than even Virginia at this point. |
Weather in Cleveland area looks good...Obama wins.

sooo glad today is finally here.
should have a few months before campaigning starts anew. |

Two of the last 3 elections have been decided by a single state.
Bush saved his entire presidency when he beat Kerry 50.7% to 48.7% in Ohio in 2004. Had Kerry won Ohio he would have scored a victory with 271 points. ![]() Obviously, Gore won the popular vote but came up a few hundred votes shorts in the state of Florida ... that was a state where George W. Bush's brother was the Gov and a lot of shady stuff went down (butterfly ballots, hanging chads) -- Gore wisely put a Jew on his ticket (Joe Libermann) to target Florida ... but it wasn't enough. Bush had the trump card there with his brother in power. ![]() Bush got Ohio both times. Ohio saved his bacon. If either Kerry or Gore got Ohio, they would have been president. |
I voted
Imagine the future of our country hinges on a bunch of beauties who haven't figured out how to get out of Ohio yet.
and I thought it was bad that the weirdos that make up Vermont were responsible for Bush beating Gore. This system sux. |

Gore beat Bush soundly in Vermont. |
There is a half-way decent chance that Romney will win the popular vote but lose the electoral.

His policies in the Middle East have been great too. It was a great idea to help oust Mubarak and Ghadaffi. I'm a big believer in ousting close allies and letting the Muslim Brotherhood take over.:zz: |
