in the article i posted elsewhere the other day, it showed that the 16 year old who was killed was NOT with his father. even if he had been with him, it didn't make it right. the father shouldn't have been killed by a drone either. i find the drone attacks to be reprehensible-not just against possible militants, but certainly against american citizens. the 'kill lists' are not constitutional, there is no due process involved. how could there be? and just because eric holder said it fits the rules under due process, doesn't mean it does.

I'm appalled as a US citizen. If I go over to Yemen or Pakistan and join Al Qadea, I can't believe I would have to fear being killed by a drone strike. That is totally unfair. I should be able to join Al Qadea in Yemen, Pakistan, Iraq, or wherever I want, without fear of being killed in a drone strike. The US government should have to go over there and arrest me and then bring me back to the states and put me on trial. I should not lose my due process just because I join Al Qadea in Yemen.

When the US government locates me training in Pakistan or Iraq, they should send some troops in and put those troops in harm's way to arrest me and bring me back to the states for trial. That is a much better idea than just blowing me away with a drone. Just because I join in Al Qadea in Pakistan, it doesn't mean I should lose my due process.

Good point!:zz:
