What would you make the line...

If the national championship were in two weeks and it was bama vs

Notre dame?

K state?

Oregon?

I would put Dame at +9.5

K state at +14

Oregon +7.5

Thoughts?

Alabama Stakes 10-28-2012 05:11 PM

K State would be less than that since they are better than Notre Dame. Bama will be dizzy for a week if they have to play the ducks. I'd say more like 6.

pointmanscousin 10-28-2012 05:44 PM

I think your lines are all too high for an n.c. game.

You will bring up Cryami-Ohio State, but if you recall Cryami was being looked at as the team of the last 100 years and Ohio had a pop gun offense.Ohio State did win on the scoreboard,by the by.

What, does B'amer have a Black man at qb or something??

How u figure KSU is better than ND??? ND dominated Oklahoma and KSU needed a bunch of breaks to hold on against them.

It is what it is. I don't care what they win by, all I know I'd their defense is great and their redshirt freshman qb Golson is getting better each week.

I think kstate is better as well but dame is a "public" team and an unbeaten dame team would get bet more than an unbeaten kstate team that looks similar to dame in terms of quality. On top of that, dame is a better defensive team than kstate and there would likely be less scoring so a lower line would be more justifiable in my opinion.

Oregon is another level than those two in terms of talent and speed and will draw west coast love.

Michigan was a preseason top twenty team with a heisman trophy candidate for qb on a nuetral field and bama was laying 14 pts and covered and that was before anyone saw how good they were. You have the Sabin factor, sec having won six straight and that makes for a huge line against a couple of teams that have outperformed expectations but still may have some doubters.

I think a td and hook to each team at minimum. Heck if they had a black qb, I would say three tds?

I like your honest,concise remark.

It's what separates you from Riot and Danny.

So catchy, so fun!

do you really think ND would be favored over K ST on a neutral field ? NO F"N WAY .maybe they will all win out and we'll get to see K St lay a whompin' on the Irish. Bill Snyder, he wins, and covers. The starters always stay in till the spread is safe. Just like the 49ers of Debartolo. Pretty sure those K.ST guys bet. That's why they are drawing all that talent. Why do you think all those guys went to Boise St ? Not for the weather or the chicks, they went to play and gamble on themselves. Football players gotta eat and spoil their girlfriends too ya know.

I'll take ND over KSU all day. Can't run the ball against the Irish this year.

Cannon Shell 10-29-2012 07:49 PM

+14.5 ND
+24.5 KSU
+8 Oregon

I might be light on Oregon. May be closer to +10

pointmanscousin 10-29-2012 08:16 PM

Oh my God.

You can't be serious.

Don't answer, am no longer typing to you.

dalakhani 12-02-2012 09:45 AM

Wynn posts bama -9.5, other casinos at -7.5 to 9.5.

Alabama Stakes 12-02-2012 11:07 AM

Lay it

King Glorious 12-03-2012 12:02 PM

I think Bama wins by 14-17. If they don't, they should feel so disappointed in themselves that they don't take the trophy.
