The track was obviously dead on that day. The 6.5 furlongs was run in a sundial slow 1:22.22 the third quarter mile of the race was run in a trotter like 27.99 seconds. Wise Dan fades through it.

Check out his 2012 race. I sure think Wise Dan should be the favorite but if AK is over his early Watchmaker odds of 15 - 1 he has got to be on the ticket. The main knock on him is the layoff and the fact that this is a prep for the Dubai world Cup next March.

No, the main knock on him is he's not good enough. That's usually where it starts.

Yes, the situations you mentions are problems too, but they aren't the main problem.

Not to mention he is clearly better on dirt.
