Political leanings

Just a simple question...

Great thread!

on which issue(s)?

altho for some, it's an easy answer..for many it is not. it's not a cut and dried thing.
i'm socially liberal, fiscally conservative. as far as conservative goes tho, it's not like it used to be. cons are typically not any more fiscally responsible than democrats are overall. they just have different pet projects for the taxpayers to pay for.

Joey - at least put up a definition of the terms. As has been pointed out, "liberal" from the point of view of RWNJ is "conservative" elsewhere.

Joey is very binary and couldn't imagine a world where someone was conservative on some issues and liberal on others.

So, Joey, because the Affordable Care Act was created by conservatives at the Heritage Institute, pushed for passage since the Clinton years in Congress by conservatives, supporting that means you are conservative - right?

How about all the social reforms Nixon did - conservative, right?

W Bush spending tons of money on education - conservative issue?

In my opinion:

Conservatives don't tend to support the takeover of health care by government. Or the socialized medicine that will evolve from that sorry excuse for a law.

Clip-Clop 10-24-2012 01:44 PM

Pro Abortion, Pro gay marriage, Pro legalizing, taxing and regulating all schedule 1 narcotics.
Anti bankers owning politicians, anti growing the military anymore, anti illegal immigration, anti social services for those that DO NOT (not cannot) contribute, anti funding for countries that do not appreciate it.

Basics but I guess that makes me vote conservative more than liberal federally but more lib locally. I voted for our democratic Gov, mayor and house rep. They are good people and do not seem to get wrapped in all the nonsense.

Then it's a good thing that didn't happen! ;)

Maybe you need to look up "socialized medicine", because you clearly don't understand what it is.

Let's hope you don't teach your boys to treat women the way you admire and do.

You guys are totally out of control with this stuff. And trust me, I've been there, and have been guilty of it myself.

I don't like Riot either, but come on guys. You're better than some of this stuff.

rpncaine 10-24-2012 07:26 PM

Scary how much I agree with you on these...we need a party we can get behind.

Sadly, it exists. The machine that controls the media will never let you know about it.

Well, except you already accepted the bet yesterday, and no, you don't have to leave Derby Trail if you lose is what the deal already was.

As of 10/25, 2 to 1 Conservatives over Liberals.
