How much would it cost? Ryan seemed stumped. When Wallace insisted, saying "you haven't given me the math, the vice-presidential candidate laughed, “I don’t have the time. It would take me too long to go through all the math.”

Yeah, this was pretty much a disaster. When pressed, it sounded like he knows the math is a disaster.

"We'll make jobs, balance the budget, and give everybody 20% tax cuts!"

"How?"

"Trust us!"

Yeah. That's what George W. and Dick Cheney said ....
