Most ignorant post race comment ever

Which was more ignorant ?

"I just got tired of trainers lying to me"

Barry Irwin after winning The Kentucky Derby 2011

or

"Kiaran came up the easy way working for Lukas while I had to do it the hard way"

Ken McPeek after winning The Travers 2012

Two Classy individuals.

The one thing that Irwin and McPeek have in common is that they never fail to use the words 'me' or 'I' in virtually every sentence that they utter.

You are so SMART . Both braggerts. I don't like McPeaked. Big phony.
So overated. He should go back to SA "bloodstock business". There was a reason Repent, Harlen Holiday and Sarava were removed from McPeaked by different owners. Isn't McPeaked really Magdalena racing...

Irwin is about the most disingenous big mouth.
Go find the Dr Greenfield Belmont. Travesty that horse was even on the track. How about Ipi Tombe. Sensational turf racer. Solid.
One race after Irwin buys the horse and she breaks down in a race.

Yeah when McPeek said that, I kept waiting for Kiaran to tap him on the shoulder and go 'pssst I'm right here, remember? We were celebrating like 5 seconds ago.' Awkward, party of 'everyone watching on tv' your table is ready.

I don't have a problem with what he said right after he had a huge score like that.

You people are just hypercritical of every minute detail. And it's funny it's usually the same crowd that's basically telling people who had McPeek's horse in the pick 4 to shut up and take that highway robbery due to a retarded rule some moron made.

It's the bettors fault though because they don't have a rule book on speed dial in their brain.

And people wonder why the sport is in major trouble and bigger crooks (politicians) want control of it.

 Right. Couldn't have anything to do with things like takeout, political greed/ambition, and our inability to effectively capitalize on the monopoly we've got on internet gambling. It's people who saw an NBC interview and went 'um, that was weird.' :zz:

Regarding the rule book, you only needed basic logic, but it's not like you shouldn't be aware of the more likely rules that could be invoked. A bettor can't go 'hey what happens to my ticket if there's a dead heat for [X place]'? Really? It's not like it's an obscure point. Dead heats happen.

Yeah I totally didn't know the other things wrong. Thanks for enlightening me.

You're going to take whatever they give you either way. You're not one to call out bad policy. I get it. Obedient servant and whatnot.
