Republican Voter Suppression in Ohio

Ohio Republican Secretary of State allows early voting in every Republican-dominated county in the state, prevents and restricts early voting in every single Democratic county in the state.

This was also a story on MSNBC yesterday, and the Department of Justice is looking into this attempted voter disenfranchisement to suppress Democratic voting ability.

ALEC-sponsored Republican voter suppression is rampant in 17 Republican states. Many laws have been overturned (Wisconsin), many others are in court (Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, etc)

For example, Colorado just completed a massive, secret voter purge, with no notification to voters taken off the rolls. Voters are being notified by independent voter protection orgs that found out.

To check that you have not been purged from a voter role, check on your ability to still vote, or to register a new voter, go to the master website CanIVote.org http://www.canivote.org/

Don't assume you are "safe" from being wrongly taken off voter rolls if you are registered independent or Republican - they are using demographics and last names to "purge" targeted voters, too.

Pssst ... it's not an imaginary "conspiracy" when it's actually been accomplished and/or passed into law. As a lawyer, I'm sure you know the difference between actual acts and, you know, your imagination ;)

Psst, the only Democrats that need night hours are the ones that need it because they don't work and can't get up in time to vote.
