we always bitch about things, well here are some props. I LOVE watching the Quarters on TVG. Mike Joyce and Dave Weaver are absolutely hilarious and while they are on air, they actually talk about gambling and understand GAMBLING. It is a novel idea. They make fun of Les the whole time, who is comedy in himself but I am always smiling when I am watching them, I just realized that. I am always laughing also. Probably their best on-air team, IMO

had the opportunity to gamble on Monday at Los Al with a couple of buddies of mine along with (their friends) Dave Weaver as well as Kurt Hoover (ESPN/HRTV) .. Kurt was actually alive after 3 races with those two $30+ bombs in the first two legs and it was a lot of fun to root him on. Both of those guys are down to earth and a blast to hang out and gamble with. It was great to meet them. The Quarters are definitely my favorite part of TVG.

I ain't gonna lie, I do enjoy how they are more laid back then Todd Shmuck and Matt "I need a haircut" Carothers:D and i usally complain about everything i like this positive stuff

Like last night, there was a real close photo in like the 4th race, Onaka is like "I have already wrote 5-6 on my program" after Joyce was like "I have no idea"

Photo sign comes down and it was 5-6 and Joyce is like "NEVER DOUBT LES ONAKA"

It was a complete horseplayer moment because we all know we have called photos before and written it down, to have it fall both ways, and when you are right about the photo, you act that way, when you are wrong you get all comedy. I like these situations better then Mr.B studdering his way through a post parade or complete over analysis of a pick four ticket, even after they have been eliminated.

Mr. B has like 2% of his Liver still working.

So that makes him not be smooth on camera? These guys get paid to announciate and be clear, not talk like their tongue got stung by a bee
