Because a 1-2 shot won the first and a stalking horse won the second over the second choice who was the speed?

You're a mean, bad, terrible person for not liking Perfect Drift... and it sure didn't seem like anything from the back made a lick of progress in the 1 & 2nd..

Didn't cap the earlies.. (Concentrated on 4-9).. Just a visual impression based on no one making up ground and a couple of the 'others' staying on that seemed likely to tire..

Could be entirely wrong..

Horse that won the first was miles the best on paper and it happened to be a speed horse. The second was maidens, most of which had only a couple starts - the winner had had only one. Want to see more before declaring a bias.

I'll wait until he gets back....and a closer wins one of the next two pitiful dirt races.
