So now, it's all about Repeal...

Plus, Mitt Romney should say that upon taking office, he will not be enforcing the ObamaCare law, just like Obama refuses to enforce the immigration laws.

Just. stop.

Obama enforces the immigration laws. He's deported more people here illegally in his first three years of office, than Bush did his entire two terms.

ICE has a budget, men and resources, and this president, like the president before him, can advise the agency where they should concentrate their actions.

President Obama chooses ICE's activity, men and resources to be focused upon continuing to identify and deport adult illegals with criminal records, illegal activity, etc. Not children.

Don't you agree with that?

And Mitt Romney, if he had half a brain, would take credit for Obamacare, as "self-responsibililty" is exactly what he championed and passed with Romneycare in Mass.

While Obamacare is modeled after Romneycare, the Romneycare in Massachusetts is not what Romney proposed. He in fact vetoed several key provisions in Romneycare but was overruled by the democratic legislature. His original plan, what he vetoed, and what has been added to Romneycare can easily be found with a simple search.

oh, absolutely. why, that's why so much of the country doesn't want it. and it's become the american way, to have something shoved down our throats for our own good, whether we like it or not. we are merely children to be taken care of by our loving masters in d.c. because they know what's best.

:zz: What tax?

Do you guys not understand that just because the majority approved the mandate under Congressional power to tax, it doesn't mean you will be paying a tax? :p

Not as long as you do what you're told. That is apparently the new standard for what "liberty" is.

No, you will never stop.

Just like you will never stop on abortion, that was decided many decades ago.

Of course, abortion as an issue is only news whenever there is competition for the Republican Presidential nomination.

But you do such a good job with abortion as an issue. So good that you ruined Giuliani as a candidate because he refused to "raise his hand" at one of the primary debates.

Of course, it was of no importance to you that Giuliani was, early on, well ahead in all the polls as a very likely winner vs whomever the Democrats put up. No, you did such a good job that you gave us McCain and Palin.

Not that the Democrats are any better but it's a shame what the Republican Party has become.

Where is Fred Thompson when you really need him?

Rudeboyelvis 06-29-2012 09:13 AM

The side show that is the 2 party system needed another act to distract the public from what is actually happening behind the curtain. Gays in the military is played out, Gay marriage is about played out, abortion, well, nobody seems to be as passionate about as what once was, etc.

They needed another major distraction to keep the population divided and thus distracted, and by God, the SC handed them one.

So Romney gets to piss away billions fighting to repeal the decision, Libtards and Conservatards get to keep bickering at each other, and the slow churn towards a globalization goes on...

yeah, and still not much of a peep about ndaa. i wonder why? my concerns with obamacare have always been about the bottom line, it's how my mind works. day to day, it has zero effect on me. for now. but we've already had a downgrade, the budget mess up there is worse, not better. this will only add to those issues. if they were going to piss off a sizable segment, they might as well have done it all the right way-but that apparently is too much to ask.

Dude I love you... You see things as bleakly as I do, I didn't think that was possible.

lol
i also have a hard time sometimes...the cynic in me rears its head, but the positive part of me tries to find a silver lining.
when one considers all aspects of the thing, it's not great. people still won't be covered, the tag will be astronomical and not do all it was purported to be able to do....
and meanwhile, all the problems continue. i wonder how much better the economy would be had all this effort been put forth in that area.

Who is "we"?

You do realize that "we" are on the same side? All American citizens? A better America? Better lives? More prosperity for everyone? More "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" for each individual? Freedom from fear, want, need?

This is not war. No matter how much Limbaugh curses those he doesn't like. Your fellow citizens are not enemies to be hated or taken down or defeated.

This is simply a difference of how to get to the goal we all have. That is something that is discussed.
