NBC Sports expands Belmont coverage

It'll now be 11 hrs worth that week. There's a special on I'll Have Another, and they're also rerunning the Derby and Preakness coverage. It sounds like they've edited coverage from NBC proper to 2hrs per race since I think both ran over 2hrs a bit. Can't remember the last time anybody re-aired the prior TC races before the Belmont.

I love the way NBC is presenting racing coverage. I think they are the right television network for thoroughbred racing. (Of course nobody beats HRTV - but as far as prime time NBC gets it right!)

I've been trying to convince the local rag that there's more to report on this Belmont than "milkshakes." So far, nothing. :mad:
