Yeah sorry, going after people who do things like soring is not something I'm going to criticize. I say go get'em. The practice is cruelty, plain and simple. It's always been a problem, and I wouldn't want to sponsor something like this either until they get a better handle on it. There's not a 'one bad egg ruining it for everybody' thing here. Too many people do it, and it's wrong. Team Pepsi here. They have a corporate image so I don't blame them one bit for protecting it, and it's not that hard to have a situation that's both corporate-friendly AND good for the horses.

People who do this to horses are not on our side and acting like it's them vs PETA and we need to be on their side is just not helping our cause.

Sometimes they use other techniques to achieve the same results. I didn't realize (but am not surprised) that they sometimes use abuse to train horses not to respond to the pain so it passes inspection.
