Now that the race is over.....?'s
No sour grapes here i didn't bet a race all day new baby=no money but i did have several ?'s about the race
1) does union rags have a new jockey next race? 2) take charge indy dam sire dehere i know that take charge lady was an awesome horse but with dehere in there isn't kind of a sprinty predigree? I really have no idea but seriously doubted this horse would make any noise today but couldnt talk my dad out of betting on him 3) will bode go to preakness? 4) has a horse ever set fractions in the KD like bode and still finish that well? 5) wth happen to gemologist? he was one of my A's and did nothing 6)alredy people saying watch went the day well at Bel but is he bred to go that far? im not that found of proud citizen as a sire but what do i know. 7) Who do you all think moves on to Preakness? Hope you guys did well today. |
I was thinking that a change in riders might not be a bad thing for Union Rags. Leparoux and he just don't seem to mesh right now.

I also would love to know wtf happened to Gemologist...........thought he would win this with ease

My question is why was Trinnieberg even entered in the race if he wasn't going to gun and get the lead. The only chance he had (remote) is if he gunned it opened a huge lead and the other jocks fell asleep like they did in the Woodford. Seems like a huge waste of a race for him.

I think the Trinniberg folks thought that if they went all Tim Ritchey-like and galloped the horse for a couple miles every morning that they could train stamina into him. In that respect, most of the 10f Trinniberg traveled on Saturday was probably great training for the horse.

t'bergs owner and trainer need to look at bodemeisters race. baffert knew better than to mess with the horse, that the derby is no time to play around or try something new or different. he let the horse keep with what the horse does best, and damn near won it all.
trinniberg? not even close. stupid, stupid, stupid. |

third overage in cali, fourth in his career. he's bound to get more horses now. |
>>>ONeill’s first TCO2 violation came on May 27, 2006, when a horse named Wisdom Cat finished out of the money in the seventh race at Hollywood Park.
ONeill then had a TCO2 violation at Hawthorne Race Course in Illinois, after the horse Stephens Got Hope finished seventh in the seventh race on April 3, 2010. Currently, he has another TCO2 violation pending in California when blood from the horse Argenta contained 39.4 millimoles per liter of TCO2 before finishing eighth in the sixth race at Del Mar on Aug. 25, 2010.<<< He's clearly not doing it right |
