It's great that he was retired in such a great re-usable condition!

was wondering about the king and how he was. thanks for the news.

Thanks for the news. I fell instantly in love with this horse when we saw him at a training track in Florida in 2010. Sweet, sweet boy.
He had a respectable racing career - 21-5-3-1 $105K ![]() I hope he finds a really good home. |
Received update from New Vocations - Redboard King has been adopted! He has been placed with a loving family who adopted a Thoroughbred from us previously. We hope he does well with his second career and his bright new future.

New Vocations can not provide the adopter info directly to us, only to person(s) who put RBK in the program. But they have forwarded my email to the family and said I could expect them to contact me with some more detail (specifically if we could visit him in the future). If I hear back, I will let everyone know.

Thanks for the updates, Heels. RBK and Lloyd have a piece of my heart. Both of them such mushkins with so much personality. I wish both of them only the best and it would be nice if they're in a place where we could visit.

A big welcome and show of appreciation to Katelin Bradley, a Wisconsin high school senior/equestrian/barrel racer, who has adopted Redboard King out of New Vocations. She's headed to college in Kentucky in the fall. She adores Redboard and has been added to the partnership on One Revolution as a thank you for her commitment to the son of Smarty Jones that won twice for us.

Great news about RbK. I hope he's a forever horse for young Katelin.
How about his "brother" Lloyd? Any info on his whereabouts? I miss him so much and regret I didn't get the opportunity to say goodbye to him when he left Saratoga last August. |
