i was really looking forward to this saturdays mandatory payout again like last year when it hit over 5 million

That was wild - a 76 to 1 shot made it happen. Supposedly ticket was bought in Vegas.

I second that. Closing day is Sunday though, and I expect a 4-day carryover.

Has Autotote investigated this one yet. 3 singles and a $153 dollar winner from a satellite site?

By the time the last leg runs, wouldn't Gulfstream know how many possible winning tickets have been bought?

closing day is sunday, but the mandatory payout if there is a 3 day carryover is saturday due to the easter holiday

Yes.

And there were other tickets live to other horses because the winner had only 3 on their ticket and there were 3 horses that would have meant a carry. So six other horses could have won and someone else would taken the pot.

Isn't that the way to play a gimmick like this? Spread (big time) in races with big longshots. Key-in on your top choices/winners. And hope you're the only one to have it.

But that's the point here, there were no BIG spreads. 4 deep in leg 1, only 2 deep in the leg with the $154 horse:zz:
9 out of 12 horses in the final leg were covered, only 3 on this ticket, but no one knows who held the other live tickets.

Not making any accusations here, just saying we've been down this road before. The last person who vouched for the veracity of this type of thing WITHOUT investigation looked pretty foolish.
This 24 combination ticket was either the greatest handicapping feat ever, or unbelievably lucky, or......
Let's find out.

Does it say it was the winner's only ticket? This winner might have had a couple hundred $2.40 tickets. Maybe they played it that way for days.

Steve crists exotic betting method always has multiple tickets. This one would have been CCCABC

Yep.

It takes away a great one-day advantage situation for bettors. I wasn't happy it was hit.

Bad timing for everyone except the lucky mofo who hit it.
