ATR - bankroll management

Steve

I enjoyed the discussion on atr Wednesday about bankroll management. As you stated it is often forgotten about but it is perhaps more important than actually handicapping a race. A regular segment on the show wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. Thanks

Tyler

Much appreciated.

I'm wondering how/if approaches change based on the card. An example would be triple crown or breeders cup days compared to a normal Saturday at your favorite track.

Thanks again

I haven't had the chance to listen to the segments yet. Looking forward to it.

While we are on the topic, is it worth reading Meadow's book? I have heard some have gotten something out of it, while others don't like it.

I liked it. Meadow is a smart guy. It is a little dated, but I for one think it makes for a good lead in to Steve Crist's Exotic Betting. Read them both if you have time.

I've read Exotic Betting when it first came out. At the time, I was still learning how to handicap and all the numbers threw me for a loop. I need to get it out and read it again.
