Just wondering

Can anyone give me a little info on Reverberate??

I know some about him just curious does he like it a little off? closer stalker type

Think he could challenge if there is a speed duel and Wanderin Boy does not get it

Thanks

Had surgery after last year's Belmont, haven't heard much from him since.

Love him tomorrow. Was wide on a suicide pace last out in only his second start of the year, and barely succumbed to A.P. Arrow, who got a perfect trip.. Think he improves with that under his belt and his only try at the one-turn 1 1/8 was his big second in the Peter Pan.. Wanderin Boy may be too tough though, so I'd box 'em up.

His last race was awesome. Still cant believe AP Arrow got up to nip him.
Probably a combo of Pletcher's training and a brilliant never giving up ride by Johnny V (he must have whipped AP Arrow 20 times from the 1/8th pole to the wire).

I dont like him tomorrow. Think he does his best on or very close to the lead, and that aint happening tomorrow. He'll be farther back than normal and I dont think he can beat some of the others without a significant head start. I think he bounces in his class hike.

I like him & Awesome Twist.

As I said on the other thread ...

Reverberate is about ready to run his best race ... don't know if it'll be good enough ... but whatever he's got ... we should see it today.

Gander 09-16-2006 11:25 AM

He ran his best race last time. I look to him to regress and not hit the board.

ateamstupid 09-16-2006 04:35 PM

Ran well but got a little tired late.. Awesome Twist screwed me out of the exacta and triple..

Awesome Twist is a useful little horse to keep an eye on.

Awesome Twist is the bane of my existence.. I loved him on opening day at SAR, but thought 5-1 was a tad too low.. He rolls. I like him again in the Forego, play him, and he ends up off the board.. I didn't like him today, and he beats me out of a decent exacta.. Argh.

OEY, OEY, OEY...

If I'm not mistaken, you were given AMPLE encouragement to use Awesome Twist earlier in the day...

If I'm not mistaken, Reverberate was a non-include because of how he bored out last time..

Which still leaves you with the rather generous exacta...

But still leaves me in the red after boxing four horses every race of the day..

I did not get a confidence vibe from Wanderin Boy from what I read on this board. $29 exactas always seem geneorus after the race.
I was wrong about Reverberate, he ran a good one, just wasnt nearly good enough but held bravely after doing the dirty work for Awesome Twist.
