We'll see.. Yesterday, Pat Kelly (Naughty New Yorker, Evening Attire) joined us on ATRAB and said he didn't think the lawn was as bad as Migliore made it out to be. He said it was quite saturated by the remnants of the hurricane, but felt a few sunny, windy days would straighten things out. We'll have NYRA racing secretary PJ Campo on the show this aft and get the bottom line. Would be a real problem if they can't run grass for any period beyond Sunday...

Belmont Park
Pick-six carryover $32,277
By DAVID GRENING
ELMONT, N.Y. - There will be a pick-six carryover of $32,277 heading into Friday's card at Belmont Park, but there will no turf racing.
New York Racing Association officials announced on Thursday that the three turf races scheduled for Friday would be transferred to the main track. Belmont's turf courses, already under scrutiny since the meet began, absorbed at least one-half inch of rain on Thursday, a day when the three turf races were moved to the main track.

The three turf races on Friday were all scheduled to be part of the pick-six. Two of the races are for New York-bred maiden 2-year-olds. Originally scheduled for one-mile on turf, they will be run at one mile on the main track. The third turf race, scheduled for six furlongs on the turf, will now be run at six furlongs on the dirt.

Five of the six races in the pick-six sequence are restricted to New York-breds.
