My guess is the turf will be yielding or good no matter what, whereas the dirt could be anything from fast to sloppy, depending on how much rain actually hits Friday night and early Saturday. I don't really care if the track is sloppy, I just hope if it does have a lot of moisture in it, the track workers don't soup it up and call it fast just so the dry track horses won't scratch. That's the **** you gotta be careful of. Hell, if they let me, I'd be out on the track before the race like Mike Dickinson, seeing how it felt like rather than just going by the label "fast" if there was rain during the day.
