Afrashad running Thursday (oops)
 

Hes running 8th @ Belmont on Thursday, 8-5 ML which probably will mean no value come post time. Last time out he didnt fair too well in his stakes race. I'd like to think hes back in a spot where he can dominate like his race on the Belmont undercard earlier this year.

Looks like the last race could have broken his spirit. I think he'll be a great bet against. Maybe CallmeTony can spring the upset. Any thoughts on him Andy?

Have barely glanced at the race....though I have never been a fan of Callmetony. Maybe I'll look later.

Yes but if you had a G to win on CallmeTony and he was about to collar the tired Afrashad at the top of the stretch, with 10 lengths back to the rest of the field, you'd become a fan very quick, no?

havent decided yet if im going to bet, I'll have to see the close to post-time odds I guess.

Is it me or did this horse get an unfair head start on the rest of the field? I swear, the gates opened, I looked up and this beast already had a 3 length lead. Nice rebound effort from the beating War Front delivered at Saratoga.

Hes just a very fast racehorse.
