"Loose/Lead" Last minute horse lover gift ideas

Here is the round up of books we featured today on "Loose on the Lead" as last minute gift ideas for yourself or the equine-interested on your list. (If you want to get a wife, girlfriend, daughter, etc., interested in your interest in horses, buy them 'The Eighty-Dollar Champion'. It will be a lot easier to get them to the racetrack after they warm to horses in general which they will after reading Snowman's story.)

Wink: The Incredible Life and Epic Journey of Jimmy Winkfield By Ed Hotaling

The Eighty-Dollar Champion: Snowman, the Horse That Inspired a Nation By Elizabeth Letts

Mustang: The Saga of the Wild Horse in the American West By Deanne Stillman
