The names underneath your name

What are they? I know they are mostly track names but one day I have Weanling undrneath my username and today I have Sam Houston. What are these and can you modify them yourself>

Bold Brooklynite 09-13-2006 04:35 PM

This was explained on another thread recently ... but I'l be happy to repeat it for you.

They are names of racetracks. A different name will appear at random under your site name every month. In order to maintain your eligibility to post on this forum ... you must visit the racetrack .. and send proof of your visit ... in the form of a .pdf or .jpeg file ... either an official track program or losing mutuel ticket ... or if the track is closed ... a photo of yourself by the track's entrance ... to the e-mail address of the site's administrator ... Mr. Steve Byk ... whose site name is Kasept.

Travelling to a different track every month can be arduous and expensive ... but we all do it ... and that's what keeps this site the best of all the thorughbred discussion forums ... everyone here is totally dedicated to its success ... or ... they're not allowed to post.

Good luck with your visit to Sam Houston ... that was also one of the first tracks I was assigned when I first joined.

A postcard from the Alamo ... or an Alamo rental in Texas ... would suffice .. since the member in question is from Boston.

BB,

Uh.. No.

In fact, it's important to acknowledge something.. Mrs. P is ALWAYS RIGHT.. Her opinion carries a great deal of weight. The faster you learn that and accept it as gospel, your life will improve and the happier you'll be. Trust me on this.

Since Bold B's joke wasn't funny the first time, and wasn't the second time either, I think we should change the location under his name to "lion's cage-Bronx zoo".

I actually thought this was funny. I did.

Oh yes, Sam Houston is not is San Antonio... the Alamo... oh well. Im sure you know that. Just did not want the poster to try and find Sam Houston in San Antonio... the arduous journey and all.

Welcome to the New York board! Lot of us honks here. You won't have to defend our honor here like at the ESPN or Del Mar boards.

Thanks man I am very excited to be on this board. Ithink it is absoutly fantastic. Though I do like the Del Mar Board it is nice to be safe in the Allies camp. the ESPN BOARD is filled with fruitloops.
The layout of this website is second to none. I am thrilled to be here.
Bold Brooklynte post would be great if we were all filthy rich and had nothing to do but to travel to other racetracks. Now that is my vision of retirement.
