Remembering President John Fitzgerald Kennedy

The world would have been on a different path now, had you, and your brother Robert, and Martin Luther, lived.

lol..I was born yesterday, 1963..literally the day before he was shot. My Mom couldn't find a nurse or Dr because they were all watching TV!

Not surprising! It was amazing. The entire world shut down and spent 4 days in front of the television. And for one of the first times, television didn't sign off at midnight, it had a camera trained on his coffin in the Rotunda, seeing the public say their goodbyes, all night long ...

Great book: "Death of a President" by William Manchester. Minute by minute account of everyone involved, for the 3-4 days.

Three tragic murders, while the Kennedy's changed history, Dr King's murder was the most personally terrible to me. He predicted it of course, and questions will always remain (same with the Kennedys). I remember all three vividly...began to question where we were heading as a nation.
