Cubs
 

Sveum to manage the cubs in 2012. Will Fielder follow him? The 2 of them are very good friends.

If Fielder lands there it won't be because of Sveum, it will be because of :$::$::$: .

They have the :$: to pay Fielder and he could hit 50+ hrs in that crap hole. The cubs would need to pay him $20 mil + for 6 yrs or more but it doesn't hurt that he is familar with and actually good friends with Sveum. I wouldn't blame him for it, but I would hate to see Fielder as a cub. It sucks seeing Sveum go to the cubs because he should be a good coach but now I hope he fails just because of which team he is coaching. It was a good fit for him though because he will get 2-3 yrs before he really needs to win as compared to coaching the Red Sox.

But he would have the horses to win now if he went to Beantown. It's really 2 extremely different situations.
