They should be fired and put in a jail cell. Especially Pelosi. She made 100k in just a few days off insider trading.

But hey, the rich criminals in washington are above the law.

It is simply astounding that, since Sunday, this story has gotten no traction in the US media. Hello? Citizens of the US? HELLO?

Our media in the US is ridiculously incompetent.

That is why Occupy is being livestreamed via Ustream, YouTube, Twitter, Al Jazzerra and Russian TV.

During the Bloomberg storm trooper attack, Bloomberg kept all the US media out, two blocks away, so they couldn't see what he was doing.

But there were four livestreams from inside the park, from around the park, that televised everything live. Even the professional media, AJ and RT, streamed those feeds. The US media? They sat milling around two blocks away getting arrested when they tried to get a story (I give credit to the journalists arrested trying to do their job)

crazy, isn't it? i can't believe they don't have to do a blind trust like the president does.
and here i thought people ran for office purely for altruistic reasons. or not! but i didn't know insider trading got a wink.

This is coming as a surprise to no one I would hope. All these people get a reasonable paying job and retire very wealthy, even if they only hold their jobs for a while.
Boehner's scenario is fringe at best. It was still a bit of a gamble on his part as the result of the vote was pretty much forgone.
