11/10: Aqueduct ($72k C/O); Churchill (8th-9th); Hollywood (5th)

Took a thorough thrashing at Aqueduct Wednesday when a parade of $20 winners scuttled P6 attempts and almost anything else attempted. In the wake of the prices is a $72k two day C/O for Thursday. In addition to the P6 sequence, Aqueduct played host to Mucho Macho Man's return to the races in a 1m ALW. Kathy Ritvo's charge could not have been more impressive in the sharp wire-to-wire effort which left a solid field panting and earned a 95 Beyer. Thursday welcome Hollywood Park back to the oval roster, and a good late P4 is offered while Churchill has an excellent MSW/ALW DD in the 8th-9th..

#11 Admired in CD R8 worked very fast at OBS. There are a few things not to like about her, but I still think she's a very solid play.

2nd at 20-1. Nice.

hockey2315 11-10-2011 03:17 PM

I think I probably would've done better if she was third, but it's better than nothing.

Nice Steve!

pointman 11-10-2011 03:32 PM

Nice work, Steve! :$:

I know I told you this morning that I was going to punch your pk6 because I didn't have time to handicap, but I got stuck in court and couldn't. Was able to punch the late pk4, though!

Thanks and keep up the great work!!

asudevil 11-10-2011 03:44 PM

A Byk Four!! Nicely done, Captain! Glory in Motion getting up in the final jumps was juicy.

arizonadave 11-10-2011 05:08 PM

I guess I am lucky I didnt see your changes and rolled you P6 numbers in P3s and the P4. Hit races 5-9 on your original picks.small tickets and big payoffs. Thanks again.

That was a great tip.

I, of course, remembered a 1/4 mile into the race.

Hence why I waited until the 8 was well clear before saying hello.

I don't think you waited that long.

You're a tough man to corral.

Larry, Dave, HB,. Nick, Tom:

Thanks. Was a fun afternoon. Dave is right that the first pass had the single of Glory in Motion which made it possible to include Lime Zest for a 5/6 conso. The SCR's actually hurt the play. Still a productive day. Hope everyone did well. $188k at AQU and $335k+ at Golden Gate!

Nice run Bri. Looked like a winner turning for home. I too would have prefered she finish behind Open Water.

An 85 Beyer for Sacristy.

(Seperately, still no fig for Hierro from Wednesday...)
