Yes, another GOP debate tonight - see Herman Cain explode!

Get your popcorn, watch it live: CNBC at 8pm eastern.

Aside from seeing The Cain Train suffering a massive Cainwreck, Mitt Romney famously said in the past to "let Detroit fail" regarding the auto industry.

Now that the auto industry was indeed saved, and 80,000 jobs were created instead of 2 million lost, let's see how Detroit welcomes Mittens, who wanted the auto industry to go away and just fail!

The Republican debate Wednesday is supposed to focus on the economy.

Against the Michigan backdrop of rapid foreclosures and 11.1 percent unemployment, it’s an appropriate theme.

But it’s also the first debate since the sexual-harassment scandal surrounding GOP candidate Herman Cain first emerged. And that’s the issue sparking the most interest.

It’s uncertain whether any debate questions will raise the the allegations directly (although it seems likely), but it’s almost certain to come up. Especially now that Karen Kraushaar went public with her allegations Tuesday night, the second accuser to do so.

Perhaps the person of most interest is Newt Gingrich, who has watched his own numbers slowly climb recently, into the low double digits, and who has been putting in solid debate performances.

Public Policy Polling surveys over the weekend showed the former House Speaker now running ahead of Romney in Ohio and Mississippi, and tied with him for the lead in an Iowa district, and he was the second choice of Cain supporters in the three places that PPP polled.

Here are a few things to watch tonight:

So I guess we can look forward to yet another war to enrich the war mongers and further bankrupt the country if Obama loses. Ron Paul seems to be the only guy with a clue in both parties.

At the first GOP debate that focused on foreign policy, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and former House speaker Newt Gingrich indicated that if either of them were commander in chief, they would be willing to use military force against Iran, if tightened economic sanctions and support for the Iranian opposition did not work to deter nuclear weapons development in the country.

“If all else fails, if after all of the work we’ve done, there’s nothing else we could do besides take military action. Then of course you take military action,” Romney said.

Gingrich agreed: “If in the end, despite all of those things, the dictatorship persists, you have to take whatever steps are necessary to break its capacity to have a nuclear weapon.”

Former Godfather’s Pizza chief executive Herman Cain said he would assist the opposition, but “would not entertain military opposition.”

If there is any republican candidate who has the intelligence and stature to overcome their past indiscretions it is Newt Gingrich.

Whoever is managing his campaign now should be rewarded handsomely. They've got Newt on the offensive.

Realistically he is the only candidate that could give Obama fits in a debate. Paul is too timid and doesn't attack his opponent nearly enough to warrant interest from the public. The people want conflict and d.ick-measuring with a little historical talking points.

Newt gets the nomination.

Even Jack Abramoff called him a crook....how bad is that...

Obama went to a church where the pastor said GOD DAM.N AMERICA!

I think we're past the point of voters giving a f.uck about a shady past
