I'd say Nixon's crisis management was a little worse but if this woman said she was assaulted and has the proof and affidavits she does it's likely it happened. With the additional women involved it most certainly happened. Only excuse for Cain IMO would be ‘she was coming on to me’. That or take the lie detector test, pass it and then demand the woman to take it. She fails or refuses he's good to go otherwise fess up.

BTW this woman is a piece of work and in addition to what’s in the press, including a child she lost custody of, rumor is she was a former piece of retired Cub's pitcher and announcer, Steve Stone.

Gloria Allred is the accusers attorney. Color me shocked.

Gloria is almost as far left as me but the woman is a Republican fundraiser so I doubt that has anything to do with the situation. Look, Clinton was a womanizer so this is hardly new behavior on the political front but Cain's handling of the accusations has been laughable.

Cain is under attack and while I disagree with his politics, I think it's important that we get the facts before rushing to judgement. Hopefully this will happen and folks will have a clear view of things before the nomination.

Looks like she was carved off Mt. Rushmore.

The facts: Cain's former employer let Cain out of his employment contract 6 months before it was up, at the same time paying $80,000 to two female employees who accused Cain of sexual harassment at work.

yep, 35k to one, 45k to another. that's not unfounded, when you see there were settlements.
but, it's de rigueur to blame the victim in these cases. she either 'made it up' or had it coming, or maybe she egged it on, and then went for money... :rolleyes: there's certainly never anything to the charges. besides, if women stayed home where they belonged, men couldn't misbehave. damned uppity women.

Cain has gone into full-on attack mode today, he started a website, where a campaign contributor, who does "private investigative work", declares he used his machine that can detect nervousness on the sound of the televised press conference from the second accuser - and determined Herman is innocent!

I f-ucking kid you not.

It's simply amazing how unrepentent blind narcissists - like those that, during a sexual harassment scandal, call the former Speaker of the House "Princess Nancy" on television - think that if they just keep denyin', these peasants will stop pointing out the truth and inconveniencing them.

Real Clear Politics has the video here. In it, a member of the crowd mentions Hill to Cain, who responds: "Is she going to endorse me?" It is difficult to make out the supporter’s original comment, but it prompted a hearty round of laughter from those in the room, including Cain, which continued after the candidate made his follow-up joke.

I'm glad I wasn't here during the Clinton-Lewinsky saga. If you're this po'd by Cain, the candidate, pushing a head toward his willy you must have been out of your mind po'd with Clinton, the President, pushing his willy into a mouth and a cigar into an ass of an underling. ;)
