I didn't catch the entire show, but was very happy to hear the well-deserved praises for Gio Ponti, and Christophe Clement’s interview. I'm heading out for a few days - probably no internet access - so if you poll whether Gio is a hall-of-famer, put me down for a YES. His accomplishments already well-chronicled, all I can add is: Isn't he, and the way he has been campaigned for the past 4 years, exactly that for which fans are clamoring?

Side bar: Did anyone listen to last Saturday's paddock interview with owner Shane Ryan, when asked about bringing him back to run as a 5YO, and again as a 6YO, his short but sweet response was (paraphrasing), "We love racing." Owners who claim to love racing, take note.

I didn't get to hear the interview, but are you sure that was the real Clement and not somone doing his EXCELLENT Clement impression?:D
